Whether you know exactly what you want to do in life, or have no clue whatsoever, you’ve come to the right place. You’re in for a [semester] of not only hands-on work and building your professional skillset, but also a journey of self-discovery and reflection that will make you feel like you’ve contributed something meaningful in the world. No matter what happens or what role you play, every action and word that you do has a purpose, and it will NEVER go unnoticed or unappreciated.

Expect to be pushed to think in ways you’ve never done before because that is how you grow to become the person you truly want to be in life, and most importantly, expect to be celebrated for all that you’ve done because even the smallest of victories can have the biggest values.

[My mentor] is quite literally one of the most amazing and inspiring people I have ever met. Not only is she passionate about the work and ideas that she would bring to every meeting, but she also is passionate about each and every one of us on the team. She looked not only to help us succeed professionally, but personally as well, which is something I am extremely grateful for. [My mentor] made sure to check in on how we were doing with work, in life, and how our mental and physical health were at all times. I felt like I could go to [her] with anything I needed, and she always came to us with the same. [She] was not a boss – she truly was a mentor, and more importantly, a friend that I look forward to having for many years to come.

Honestly, the program was not really what I expected, but in the BEST way possible. After hearing about what my friends were up to this summer and reflecting on past internship experiences, I realized that I was not just an intern: I was a team member. I was not just being assigned tasks to complete or sitting in on meetings where I would just sit back and listen to a manager. Rather, I was actively participating in team discussions and having a hands-on role that allowed me to truly express my thoughts and ideas in a professional setting. I’ve been able to grow career-wise having now had the opportunity to reflect on my work and find a future path that I am passionate about, so I truly feel prepared to enter the working world post-graduation.

I cannot even begin to describe in words how much this program has meant to me. Not only was this the first job where I’ve felt like I’ve been able to make significant contributions, but it’s also been such a great learning opportunity that’s opened so many doors to my future. I’ve been able to develop my personal passions, and I know that one day I’ll be able to look back and smile, reflecting on how I became the person I’ve wanted to become.
